Hair Loss Treatment
Hair Loss Treatment London
Hair thinning and loss affects both men and women and has multiple causes — androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss), telogen effluvium (diffuse thinning from stress or nutritional deficiency), alopecia areata, and others. At Volt Cartel, we assess hair loss before recommending treatment. Our primary approaches use PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and polynucleotides — injectable treatments that deliver growth factors and regenerative signals directly to the scalp to stimulate follicular activity and improve hair density. We refer to a trichologist or dermatologist if the condition requires it. Learn more →
Hyperhidrosis Treatment
Hyperhidrosis Treatment London
Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating — typically of the underarms, hands, or feet — that isn't controlled by standard antiperspirant. Anti-wrinkle injections (botulinum toxin) placed into the affected area block the nerve signals that trigger sweat gland activity. The result is a significant reduction in sweating in most patients, typically lasting 6–12 months. Axillary (underarm) hyperhidrosis is the most common presentation we treat and responds well in most cases. Learn more →
IV Therapy
IV (intravenous) therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This allows higher concentrations to reach target tissues than would be achievable through oral supplementation. Our IV treatments are formulated by our doctors and administered at our Shoreditch clinic. IV therapy is a supplement to, not a replacement for, a healthy diet and lifestyle — we will tell you if we don't think you'd benefit.

Vitamin Drip London
A high-dose vitamin blend — typically including B vitamins, vitamin C, and magnesium — delivered intravenously. Popular with patients experiencing fatigue, high workload periods, or those who want to consider a clinician-assessed vitamin infusion. A single session takes 45–60 minutes. Learn more →
Immunity IV Drip London
Given only after clinical assessment (we do not make immune-support claims) — high-dose vitamin C, zinc, and B-complex alongside hydration. Often sought during winter months, after illness, or ahead of high-demand periods. Learn more →
IV Iron Infusion London
For patients with confirmed iron deficiency anaemia where oral supplementation has not been sufficient. IV iron infusion bypasses the gut entirely and can restore iron levels in a single session. This treatment requires a confirmed diagnosis and blood results — we do not administer IV iron without appropriate clinical grounds. Learn more →
Why Choose Volt Cartel for Body and Health Treatments in London?
We don't offer IV drips on a walk-in basis or administer hair loss treatments without first understanding the cause. Every patient is assessed by a doctor who will only recommend a treatment if there's a reasonable clinical basis for it.
IV therapy and hair loss treatment are areas with significant marketing noise. We'll tell you upfront if your hair loss is likely to respond to PRP, if IV vitamins would genuinely benefit your situation, or if you'd be better served elsewhere. We'd rather give useful advice than an unnecessary treatment.
IV iron infusion in particular requires clinical judgment — the wrong formulation or infusion rate can cause reactions. Our doctors manage all IV formulations and are present during treatment. We do not use infusion nurses under remote prescriber supervision.
Hair loss responds best to multi-modal treatment — PRP provides the growth factor stimulus; polynucleotides support tissue regeneration; nutritional support addresses underlying deficiencies. We build treatment plans that address multiple contributing factors.
Our clinic at 86–90 Paul Street is a short walk from Old Street and Liverpool Street. Sessions typically run 45–90 minutes for IV therapy and hyperhidrosis treatments — straightforward to fit around a working day.
Frequently Asked Questions — Body & Health Treatments
Does botulinum toxin for hyperhidrosis stop sweating completely?
In most patients, it produces a significant reduction — typically 80–90% less sweating in the treated area. It doesn't always stop sweating completely. Results vary by individual and by the severity of the original presentation.
How many PRP sessions are needed for hair loss?
Most patients start with 3 sessions over 3 months, then move to maintenance sessions every 4–6 months. Results take time — hair follicles regenerate slowly. Most patients notice reduced shedding first, followed by visible density improvement over 3–6 months. Results vary depending on the underlying cause and stage of hair loss.
Who is not suitable for IV therapy?
Patients with severe kidney or liver disease, certain cardiac conditions, or known allergies to specific formulation components should not receive IV therapy. Pregnancy is a relative contraindication. All patients complete a medical history form before their first IV session.
How often can I have an IV drip?
For vitamin infusions, most patients have treatments every 4–8 weeks. More frequent treatment in healthy individuals offers diminishing returns — the body excretes water-soluble vitamins efficiently. We'll give you a realistic assessment of how often treatment would genuinely benefit you.
Is a blood test required before IV iron infusion?
Yes — we require a recent full blood count (FBC) with ferritin and iron studies before administering IV iron. If you don't have recent results, we can arrange a blood draw. IV iron is not appropriate without confirmed iron deficiency.
Can hyperhidrosis be treated on the hands or feet as well as underarms?
Yes — we treat palmar (hand) and plantar (foot) hyperhidrosis as well as axillary (underarm). Hand and foot injections are more uncomfortable than underarm treatment. We discuss pain management options at consultation.
